Cooler Horsemanship
Cooler Horsemanship is a form of natural horsemanship that was developed by Don Cooler in the early 1990’s. Having dedicated himself to studying a number of top natural horsemanship trainers, Don developed a set of philosophies and techniques that became known as the ATRUM Method – the basis to understanding the knowledge and skills needed to build the relationship of Willing Cooperation we all strive for with our horses.
Due to Don’s untimely death from cancer in 2004,
Cooler Horsemanship is now carried on by Don’s son,
James Cooler, and his fiancé Kate Finnerty.
James and Kate recently moved to Fiore Farms, LLC
in Summerfield, NC.
In conjunction with continuing to develop and teach the Cooler Horsemanship program and philosophies, James will be acting as the Equestrian Director of Fiore Farms.
With Cooler Horsemanship and Fiore Farms teaming up together, they will be able to offer a first-class equine facility with a first-class horsemanship program. It is their goal to build an equine community that puts the horse first, and goals second.
